May Favourites!

Hi everyone!

It's time for May favourites and I can't believe summer has officially arrived! Are you guys excited or what! This month I've been loving some new products I recently purchased (check out my drugstore haul here) and also some of my all-time favourites.

Now that it's getting warmer outside, I try to stick to lighter foundations or tinted moisturizers, because otherwise I feel my makeup melting during the day. So I've been loving this one from NARS and I can't rave about this product enough. It's just perfect in my opinion! Check out my video review here

I've been pretty lazy recently, so instead of normal fake tan I've been using gradual tanners. You don't have to wash them off the next morning, which is a great bonus for me! I love this one from L'Oreal because it can be used both for the face and body. It builds up a really nice natural tan and makes your skin look really healthy and moisturized.

This is another product I mentioned in my recent haul and I'm actually really impressed with it! For £3.99 it's a great bronzer! It's matte and has a natural brown undertone, so it won't make you look orange!

This Soap&Glory eye pencil is quickly becoming one of my all time favourites. It's a very rich and creamy consistency, highly pigmented and lasts all day. I've been using the dark olive colour on my top lid instead of the traditional black eyeliner, and it's been working really nicely!

These two lip products I've been using non-stop all month! The Bourjois lipgloss has the most gorgeous colour. It's super glossy, moisturizing for the lips and very longlasting, so you really can't go wrong! And then the L'Oreal lipstick is such an unusual colour that I've had quite a few people ask me what I'm wearing on my lips. It's a coral pink colour with the prettiest golden shimmer, so your lips will definitely get noticed!

I've been absolutely in love with this L'Oreal nail polish! I already talked about the Spring/Summer collection of nail polishes that L'Oreal came out with. The range of colours is huge and the lasting power really impressed me. My nails didn't start chipping for a week, which is pretty amazing for a drugstore nail polish! I bought quite a few colours and this one in particular has been my favourite during the month of May!

And finally I have this Hemp Hand Protector from The Body Shop.  I've heard so many good things about it and now I know why! I usually apply it before bed and in the morning I wake up with the softest hands! I don't think I have ever tried such a moisturizing hand cream! I would really recommend it to you guys if you haven't tried it already.

  1. I really want to try L'Oreal's Sublime Bronzer! I've been using Jergens Natural Glow but I find that it gives an orange-y finish. Rimmel's natural bronzer looks really good too. Thanks for sharing! :)

    1. You should! It's really great :) and you're welcome hun!

  2. Would you recommend the L'Oreal's Sumblime Bronzer for someone who has really really pale skin??? I'm practically a milk bottle so all tanning products turn me orange. Booo! Thank you for the post

    1. Yes it will work nicely on pale skin! My face is a lot lighter because of cleansing it every day, and this L'Oreal Bronzer gives it a healthy glow without looking orange. Hope this helps :)

  3. Have you ever tried NYC Sunny? If so would you recommend rimmel sun dance over it?

    1. No I haven't tried that, is it good? And I'm in love with your blog haha! xo
